Family Nurse Practitioner
Michaelle Spears, NP
Michaelle Spears is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who obtained her Masters of Nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2018. She is certified by the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center (ANCC). She continues to build upon her educational foundation with extensive continuing educational programs relevant to daily patient care.
Prior to joining Advanced Medical Innovations, Michaelle worked in Utah as a Nurse Practioner. She has spent nearly 13 years as a registered nurse in inpatient hospital in Fallon, Nevada working with children and adults.
Michaelle is married and has two children. She enjoys hiking, traveling, camping and spending time with family.
Michaelle is dedicated to provide compassionate care to all her patients. Her goals for the clinic including making appointments timely, convenient, and patient centered. She is known for balancing the highest standard of professionalism. Her colleagues and friends describe her as trustworthy, ethical, reliable and willing to go above and beyond to ensure excellence.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Melissa Perotti, D.C., Patient Coordinator, CEO
Dr. Perotti was born in Alaska and grew up in Kona, Hawaii. During undergraduate studies at University of Hawaii, and throughout grad school at Life Chiropractic College-West (LCCW), she worked as a licensed massage therapist for several practices gaining exceptional palpation skills. Reno, NV became home in 2004, and she proudly opened her Family practice, Advanced Health Chiropractic (AHC).
AHC quickly grew and became a fun, thriving environment for health and healing. In 2009, Dr. Perotti was asked to be the Reno Aces Chiropractor, which has been a really great experience, as she is an affiliate of the Professional Baseball Chiropractic Society (PBCS). Her passion is promoting safe, natural healthcare to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on pediatrics and sports. Since 2005, she has been a Designated State of Nevada Impairment Rater for Permanent Partial Disability ratings (PPDs). Dr. Perotti was inspired to open a second practice to offer primary care as well as safe, natural pain-management, Vitamin IV Hydration, along with many other options to promote health and healing for the families here in Northern Nevada. She is a proud mom of two beautiful daughters, Madison and Morgan. Madison enjoys working at AHC and will be attending UNR fall of 2022. Dr. Perotti enjoys horseback riding, hiking and working out. She is constantly improving her skills and knowledge in the field of healthcare and is passionate about offering the most state of the art techniques and therapies to all of her patients.

LINDSAY NELSON
Lindsay is a native Nevadan having been born and raised in Reno, NV. Lindsay started working with children at the age of 16 with the City of Reno’s Sierra Kids program. Lindsay started her college career at TMCC focusing on Physical Therapy.
After starting to work under Dr. Melissa Perotti, and watching patients progress by finding healthy alternatives to live their best life, she found her love of Chiropractic. She obtained her Chiropractic Assistant license and hopes to continue in Chiropractic and homeopathic health. In her spare time, you will find Lindsay barefoot, enjoying mother nature, and loving life!
